I was probably too hard on them, but locking up my browser was a poor first impression to say the least. It wasn't that I was getting 500 HTTP status code errors (that would be understandable with the traffic), the site acutally made approx. 500 distinct requests to urchin.js. Maybe that was a bug due to traffic. Looks like they have a new welcome page, and it does a much better job. Thanks for the heads up. At first I just assumed they took the site down because they weren't ready. My take is that they aren't really ready for a full-blown launch, but it's not that bad.
